How I can help

Relationships

When closeness brings more strain than support, or the same arguments keep coming back.

What it can feel like

Our relationships are among the most important things in our lives — and among the most complicated. You might notice that you slip into the same role in certain relationships, that arguments follow a familiar script, or that it's hard to be close to someone and still stay yourself.

How we can work with it

In one-to-one sessions we focus on your side of the relationship: what you experience, what you need, which patterns repeat and where they come from. This often brings more freedom to respond in a new way.

We can also work with specific situations — a difficult conversation, a decision about separating, or boundaries you'd like to set.

What to expect

We can't change other people, but changing how we take part in a relationship often changes the relationship itself. If you're looking for couples counselling, I'll point you towards a suitable specialist.
