How I can help
Anxiety
When worry starts to shape your decisions, your sleep, or how you feel around other people.
What it can feel like
Anxiety is a natural response — it helps us notice danger and prepare for it. Sometimes, though, it stays switched on even when there's no real threat. Thoughts go round in circles, the body stays tense, and sleep becomes restless.
You might notice yourself putting off conversations, journeys or decisions because even thinking about them is exhausting. You may look calm on the outside while everything inside is racing.
How we can work with it
In sessions, we start by understanding how your anxiety works: when it shows up, what makes it stronger, and what brings relief, even briefly. From there, we look for ways to relate to it with more understanding and less struggle.
Together we might explore the thoughts that feed the worry, practise ways of settling the body, and gradually return to the things you've started avoiding — at a pace that feels manageable.
What to expect
There's no one-size-fits-all approach, and I can't promise that anxiety will disappear entirely. The aim is for it to stop running the show. If at any point it would help to involve a doctor as well, we'll talk about it openly.
